Fell Down
Saturday, 29-Aug-98 23:21:53

I just located a copy of "Fell Down". It is the last book I need to read to be caught up with M.E. Kerr's books. I enjoyed "Fell" and "Fell Back" though it's been awhile since I read them. I hope that I can get back into the world of John Fell with relative ease.

Well, I just finished reading Fell Down. I was also reading about how M. E. Kerr wrote Fell because she wanted to do something familiar, i.e., a mystery. But then she found that mysteries usually have a murder in them but when writing for younger readers, she had to be more creative with the crime. That is, she didn't want to make it too disturbing. I guess she did a good job tho' I think dummies, figures, or whatever you want to call them, are disturbing in themselves.

First impressions...

What is the first book by M. E. Kerr book that you read/liked? Personally, I don't really remember reading her when I was younger. I find it hard to believe since I've always been into reading. So I'm still waiting for an earlier memory. But as far as I can tell, I didn't read M. E. Kerr until I was an adult when I read "Little Little". After that, I was hooked!
